Your AI Resume

The AI resume: a glossary

The audit

What is The audit?

The audit is reading your own AI resume: asking several models the questions your buyers and employers are asking, and reading the answers as a stranger with money at stake would.

Who uses the term The audit?

The book's own term for the first exercise it sets.

Closest commercial equivalents are an AI visibility audit or a brand perception check, both of which are usually sold rather than done in an evening.

A rank check tells you where a page sits. An audit tells you what a model says about you when nobody is watching.

A one-off search shows a result. An audit reads the synthesis, notes the citations behind it, and classifies what it finds.

What does Online Reputation Management for Your AI Resume say about The audit?

The book says the audit takes an evening and that four findings are possible, each setting a different work plan: accurate and strong, thin, outdated, or wrong. Its bluntest line is that most readers will screenshot the questions and never open a model to ask them.
