AI resume

An AI resume is the profile an AI model assembles about you or your business when someone asks, built from everything the model can retrieve and remember.

The term is this book's own. It names something everyone already has rather than a product anyone sells.

The nearest established phrases are entity profile and brand perception in AI search, both of which describe the machinery rather than the document the reader ends up holding.

A CV is written by you and says what you chose to say. An AI resume is compiled by machines and says what the evidence supports.

A knowledge panel is one search engine's visible record. An AI resume is the synthesis any model produces on demand, across every source it can reach, and it is never shown to you.

The book's framing is that this reads like a resume because it is used like one: a resume exists to help someone decide about you quickly, which is exactly the job the machine's summary performs. Where your CV and your AI resume disagree, it says, the reader increasingly believes the machine, because the machine has no reason to flatter you.
