Your AI Resume

The AI resume: a glossary

Consistency

What is Consistency?

Consistency is the same fact appearing in the same form across every source, so that a machine reading all of them has one claim to hold rather than several to reconcile.

Who uses the term Consistency?

Used across entity SEO, usually about names, addresses and descriptions.

This book widens it to every fact in a record, including the sentence you use to describe yourself.

Consistency is about the form of a fact. Corroboration is about how many independent sources carry it.

Variation is not richness. Three phrasings of one fact is a reconciliation problem, and the machine resolves it by lowering confidence in all three.

What does Online Reputation Management for Your AI Resume say about Consistency?

The book calls consistency the whole trick of the entity home chapter: state it once, then state it identically everywhere else. This site follows its own advice, which is why the definitive description is a single approved sentence rather than a paraphrase per page.

Read about the book's argument.
